Fenna Kosfeld (1999) is a German-born artist and material explorer based between Germany and Barcelona, Spain. Her practice investigates the emotional and atmospheric potential of light, matter, and space within an ecological and energetic web.
Working through sculpture, installation, mixed media, and experimental material research, she creates sculptural objects and spatial interventions that function as both companions and thresholds — inviting presence, reflection, and wonder.
Her studio operates as an evolving ecosystem where experimental material research transforms into both collectible domestic pieces, singular sculptural works, and abstract projects. Her pieces move between functionality and contemplation, inhabiting interiors, exhibition spaces, and outdoor environments.
Guided by tactility, intuition, making, and play, Fenna’s process unfolds through hands-on experimentation. Beyond the studio, she draws inspiration from gardening, observing natural cycles, and working with elemental processes such as fire.
