The Mother Dweller I

Part of the Dweller Family. The dwellers are mystical creatures, glowing in its place. Moving when encountered. Dancing when energy flows.

These specific dwellers are light sculptures made of steel metal, carbonised cow bone, cotton, biopolymer, charcoal. The name dweller comes from the ecological concept of the dwelling place. The notion of a dwelling place is central to ecological thought. It suggests that every organism exists within a kind of home, a network of relations that provides both shelter and connection. It’s not a static house, but a living environment — a space where energy flows, materials cycle, and lives intersect. As carbon is one of the purest forms of life, the charred bones form the dwellers body and are an ode to chars’ ( charcoal ) material characteristic of storing energy, memory and life.

Nothing is separate. The dwellers are companions in synergy.
